Shelby County Texas completed drilling activity for June 20, 2010:

Unit Petroleum has completed two new wells in Shelby County. The R. Kidd Well No. 1 hit 11,750 feet 5.4 miles northwest of Center, TX in the Carthage Field. On a 64/64-inch choke the well potentials 122,000 cubic feet of gas. Production is in the Haynesville Shale.
The Smith Well No. 1 is eight miles west of Center, TX in the Stockman Field and was drilled to a depth of 11,765 feet. The well potentialed 1.328 million cubic feet of gas on a 14/64-inch choke. Production is in the Cotton Valley formation.

There is no new developmental drilling activity to report for the week.
